Generating leads for business is an important necessity for every marketer and businessmen. Video marketing has been shown to greatly enhance your list building efforts. Lead generation takes place when you use an exit-pop strategy, in conjunction with an opt-in form, to collect the reader’s email information as the readers attempt to leave your website.
Most marketing newbies will use video marketing as their delivery choice, without having a conversion strategy in place FIRST. As a result, oftentimes they get discouraged with the reality of less than expected results in their marketing campaign.
Make a short, informative video with sharable content and a call-to-action (CTA). That way it can be shared easily among their social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, SnapChat and YouTube. An opt-in form should always be included with your videos, along with other free offers such as, training guides, PDF articles, an eCourse, cheat sheets, mind maps and tips. All given away FREE, in exchange, for their email information.
You can include an email gate in your video at any point. You can ask viewers to enter their email information in order to watch the entire video or or as a reminder to watch the next video. You can also use an Email Gate at the end of the video, with a fascinating call-to-action to persuade your viewers to opt-in. Different Calls -to-Action (CTA) placements return different conversion analytics, along with colors, words choices and more.

Repurpose and Reuse your old video content to create a new offer. You can write a Blog posting relating to the video, then advertise and promote BOTH on your social media networks. This will give you great exposure.
If your video content is extensive, you can break your video content into multiple segments and create a step-by-step “How-to-do-it” video eCourse series for your audience. You can also incorporate your autoresponder and setup an email campaign to generate leads.
Every video uploaded on YouTube should have a call-to-action (CTA) embedded within the video or somewhere in the video description. Adding an opt-in as the CTA is a good way to build your email lists.
To maximize the effectiveness of your campaign, you can also include email signup links and read more links into your YouTube description to add even more leads to your customer base.
